Nineteen teams
gathered at the Railwood Golf Club in Holt Summit on May 23, 2006
for the 9th Annual Missouri Cattlemen's Classic Golf Tournament.
The successful showing generated funds that would support Missouri's
Cattlemen Foundation's three programs: children's fund,
scholarships and farm safety and education for our youth.
The four-person scramble had a
$75 registration fee that included cart, green fees and a steak
sandwich lunch.
Sponsors and providers for the
tournament were Farm Credit Services of Missouri, Pfizer Animal
Health, Scheppers Distributing of Jefferson City and Cooper County
Cattlemen's Association. Brent Bryant, McKenzie Disselhorst
and Lesley Snodgrass from Missouri Cattlemen's Association and Kasey
Hunt, Jill Nelson and Traci Richter from Mizzou Collegiate
CattleWomen were on hand to help with the event.
Two divisions, each with two
flights, were organized for the event. The Cattlemen's Class
required three of the four team members to be cattlemen as well as
members of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association. Beef Gift
Certificates were awarded to all winners.
