Thursday, May 22, Mother Nature was her old self with a grey, cool, blustery, rain filled day. It will be same great fun on the same beautiful course, but at a new time - the annual Southwest Cattlemen's Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, August 7 at the Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar.  Register now to get in on all the fun. 

Funds for another scholarship will be dispersed this year in honor of a man who contributed much to the youth of Missouri and animals around the area.  Dr. Wayne D. "Doc" Smith played a valuable role in launching the Sullivan County Cattlemen's Association.  For more on the "Doc" Smith Scholarship Fund, check out the press release

Mission Statement

 

The purpose of Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation is to promote the educational development of youth through scholarships; encourage farm safety awareness; support disabled children in the state of Missouri; and to enhance the leadership development of future generations of cattlemen and women.

Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation has three primary mission areas in which funds from various activities provide the financial support.  These mission areas include the Children's Fund, Farm Safety and Scholarship.  The activities that support these areas are the numerous golf tournaments, Cattlemen's Round-Up, Charity Weekend with trail ride, the Farm Safety College as well as many other activities.
